Founded in 2018, ConnectomX has been at the forefront of revolutionising volume electron microscopy. katana microtome, embodies this vision. Inspired by the precision of the Japanese sword from which it takes its name, katana microtome is the world’s universal in-situ ultramicrotome designed to integrate effortlessly with a variety of Scanning Electron Microscopes (SEMs). This transformation enables SEMs to operate with 3D capabilities, achieving unprecedented Z-resolutions as low as 20 nm.
